李必杰,1984年12月生于湖北黄冈。2003年进入北京大学化学学院学习,2007年毕业获得学士学位。同年进入北京大学化学学院施章杰教授课题组攻读博士学位,进行金属有机化学方向的研究工作,并于2012年获得博士学位。2012年8月加入加州大学伯克利分校Prof. John Hartwig 实验室开展博士后研究,博士后期间的工作集中在过渡金属催化反应的机理研究。2015年6月底回国加入清华大学基础分子科学中心开展独立研究工作。

李必杰博士的研方向主要集中在过渡金属催化与物理有机化学。课题组将针对有机合成中具有挑战性的问题设计并发展新的有机合成方法,同时通过物理有机化学对所发展的新反应进行机理研究,从而加深对过渡金属催化反应机理的认识,指导新型过渡金属催化剂的设计。目前的研究方向包括烯烃、炔烃的官能团化及有机硼试剂、有机硅试剂的不对称合成等。
