Dr. Long Zhang graduated with Bachelor's degree from Nankai University in 2005. He obtained the Ph.D. degree from Nankai University in 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Jin-Pei Cheng. Then he joined in the Institute of Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences as assistant professor and  was promoted as associated professor in 2013. He moved to Tsinghua University since 2018 and gained the support of the National Program of Top-notch Young Professionals in 2021.

He is interested in the application of artificial intelligence in chemistry, physical organic chemistry and computational chemistry.
